When you no longer feel safe inside your own experience, everything else becomes harder — relationships, communication, leadership, intimacy, creativity. We begin managing ourselves instead of trusting ourselves. We perform instead of connecting. We react instead of relating.

The Nature of This Work

I work privately with a small number of people each month who are ready for depth.

This is not traditional therapy, coaching, or problem-solving.
It is experiential, relational work focused on restoring access to your emotional body and nervous system — the place where real change happens.

Rather than talking about your life, we work with what is happening in real time: your emotions, your reactions, your patterns of self-protection, and your capacity for presence.

From that place, clarity emerges.
And from clarity, relationships transform.

Many people tell me that the most impactful part of this work is not what is said — but what is felt.

When lived experience replaces self-judgment, shame loosens its grip. What remains is presence, confidence, and inner stability.

What This Work Is Not

This work is not: 

  • Crisis intervention
  • Intensive trauma processing for severe or complex trauma
  • Focused on fixing or correcting you
  • Revisiting stories repeatedly or assigning blame

If someone is unable to move beyond defensiveness, rigid narratives, or blaming others, this work will not be supportive. 

This work requires emotional honesty, responsibility, and the courage to stay present.

This structure allows for depth, continuity, and integration — without creating dependency.

Is This Work a Good Fit?

Because this work is relational and experiential, the first step is a conversation. 

We begin with a Zoom meeting to explore whether working together feels aligned — for both of us. 

This conversation allows us to: 

  • Clarify what you are seeking
  • Determine whether this work is appropriate for you at this time
  • Explore readiness for experiential, presence-based work
  • Ensure the space feels respectful and supportive  

This is not an intake or assessment. 
It is a human conversation. 

If the work feels like a fit, we’ll discuss next steps. If it does not, I will name that honestly and, when appropriate, suggest other avenues of support. 

Join a Weekly Online Group

In these weekly online groups guided by JF, people gather in community to explore their inner experience and discover what becomes possible when we meet ourselves—and each other—more honestly.
